International Standard → International standard (disambiguation) – As noted at the top of this page, there is a primary topic, currently at International standard. International Standard should redirect there instead of being a dab page. Cat5nap (talk) 06:32, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

- If you assume that International Standard (dance) is primary over International Standard Version. Which it may be, but I didn't assume it. Since the uncapitalized title "International standard" is not ambiguous on Wikipedia (the ambiguous topics are capitalized), the proposed move would not improve the encyclopedia, no matter which assumption you make. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:32, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, the term "International Standard" for a standard produced by an international standards organization is very commonly capitalized, and thus I suggest that this term is also primary for the capitalized variation. For example, the International Organization for Standardization, which is the largest such organization, abbreviates its standards as "IS". When referring to these standards, it is common for people to capitalize both words – either to show that they are using this special term or to introduce that abbreviation. - I have no issue with this page being moved to International Standard (disambiguation) and redirecting International Standard to International standard as an {{R from alternate capitalisation}}.
