Hi, the most relevant (not to name him the mega) censor in the Germanic internet sphere was/is google.de. German version of Wikipedia

I just added a short paragraph about the censorship thats occuring in our german version Wikipedia. While I understand that its easier to silence people that voice criticism, I'd like you to try to accept this instead. Its a serious problem here. I have talked with dozents of former Wikipedia.de authors, and they all left because of the massive mobbing and censorship. A small group of people closes theire eyes upon the fact that theire senseless and unreflected abuse of power destroys this project. I love the Wikipedia, but whats happening here in Germany is a shame! I meant to undo it, but must have been beaten to the punch. Wikipedia requires that all information be verified by siting reliable sources. Your paragraph provided nothing--just your own point of view and original research. If this is the "censorship" u see at german wp, then you will see it here too, because it's core policy. The frustrating thig is, that I get five answers/explanations after I attacked one of your authors, but zero when my addition was hidden the first time, or when I asked for a reason and placed it a second time. On a lighter note, you are more than welcome to add content to this encyclopedia if you provide a reliable source as a citation. See Reliable sources as reference to this. List of Blocked Domains in Germany

Why does Wikipedia not publish a list of the domains that are blocked for german users of the internet or a link where German people can find this list? www.adolfhitler.ws threws the error "This domain has been blocked." while www.adolfhitler.dk works fine. Not beeing a nazi, I don't like that in 2012. Sometimes it happens that two or three search results by Google are not published "because of copyright laws" for Germans. This message quickly disappears without telling what the results might have been. I don't like that either. It's real censorship. I find myself behind a new German wall. I think it should be explicitly mentioned somewhere in the article that Germany is in fact among the top THREE (!) I would like to add that I use to write comments on certain media websites like welt.de, which is rather one of the few sites which allow commenting at all. Of course I do not insult or threaten anyone personally, nor do I write anything too extreme, but I write quite critically. I can only guess, but 40-50% of my comments do not pass "approval." Yes, comments are only shown if they pass moderation instead of being removed if reported. However, I tend to gather a lot of "likes", 1100 for 60 comments, so at least a good amount of people approve of what I write. I tend to write right winged and pragmatic, and criticize leftist ideology, so I am in counter position to the media's agenda. But so do at least 80% of all other users present there too. Criticizing the moderation has 0% chance to pass moderation. So yes, censoring in Germany is really extreme and directed strictly against right wing. Concept of Freedom of Speech is non-existent in Germany

Germany legally does not have a Freedom of Speech right (Redefreiehit) but only a 'right to have an opinion' (Meinungsfreiheit). I am not making this up. This enables the German government to use a plethora of legal interceptions towards anyone which are, indeed, used permanently. Germany doesn't have a "right to bear arms" too. Most countries don't have either of this anarchist trash laws, and this is a good thing. I am happy we don't have a Kux Klux Klan or the like in Germany. Cultural Censorship via Youtube

I would like to mention cultural censorship via Youtube. Since Youtube is the defacto standard when it comes to music videos and GEMA owns many rights, GEMA is censoring access to many videos on Youtube.
