Opening statement[edit]

I wonder if there is an issue with saying "Inverness Thistle Football Club was a football club playing in the city of Inverness", as Inverness was not a city at the time the club existed? Dunarc (talk) 23:59, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Crown F.C.[edit]

Crown F.C. (Inverness) redirects here, but there is no mention of that club in the article. I seem to recall it was another Inverness club which merged into Inverness Thistle fairly early on (but do not have a source to confirm this to hand), but it would be good if that could be confirmed in the article.
