Merge into History of the Far North Line?[edit]

The railway from Inverness to Wick and Thurso is viewed nowadays as a single entity, but it was built by four different companies.

This article badly needs extending and providing some proper citations, but the History of the Far North Line is already well written and, with a little enhancement, could be a much better record of the I&RR, and its relationship with the later constructions. NB there is a Far North Line article as well, but I am referring here to the History article.

I propose therefore that this present article should be merged into the "History" article. This article doesn't contain any information that can't be retrieved from source material quite easily. --Afterbrunel (talk) 14:28, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not much support for that, so I'll leave it.--Afterbrunel (talk) 07:01, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
