Duplicate content[edit]

I just now copied this from the article Investment, which was tagged as not having a single coherent content. Now that article is about investment in finance, and this one is about investment in macroeconomics.

A bot has found a duplicate of this content on the web. That web page is clearly labelled as drawn from Wikipedia. So there's no problem of inappropriate copying in either direction. Loraof (talk) 17:51, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the explanation. That happens all the time, which is why the bot only tags the page but doesn't take any further action itself. Just one note, when copying material from one article to another, our license does need for the source page to be specifically identified. An edit summary will do, similar to the one you used, but with the article named (and preferably linked). I'll add that now and close this out. Thanks for your work!
