Hangon[edit]

Contrary to what is said by Pejman47, this company's article is NOT advertising and I have NO link to it WHATSOEVER, as clearly mentionned on the history page, since its creation. This is a very legitimate company linked to the Ministry of Commerce of Iran as there are many other companies listed on the List of Major Iranian Companies. Facts ONLY have been reported and it is obvious there is a political agenda here and THIS should NOT be accepted on Wikipedia.SSZ 00:17, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it should stay. There are other articles, of companies, with LESS information that have been up for a years. This one is good to have, and is sourced. How else would those who are outside of the country and will never be able to go and see what's there, learn? This is for history's sake. Other's can come and ADD to it to provide more info or not, just don't DELETE IT. I don't understand some people. <sigh> - Jeeny Talk 03:34, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Last minute cleanups[edit]

I don't remember how I stumbled across Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Iran International Exhibitions Company, but my Comment was, "WP:STUB it and MOVE ON" ... so, I dropped into this article and changed some of the explicit external links to {{cite web}} with |title= taken from the HTML header of the referenced page, and set |accessdate=2007-05-12 since I verified all of the links.

I rearranged the first paragraph so that it can stand alone as a stub with its two citations, one of which is from IRNA ... since this is also an Iranian State Ministry, I'm not sure if that represents a WP:COI issue, but "I'm here to repair it, not to defend it." :-)

I also either removed or commented out the links that violated WP:EL, and added a {{Company-stub}} ... now that I've left these comments, I can go back and do the Final Slash, leaving just the first paragraph as a stub ... Some Other Editor can revert it back to an earlier version if they prefer, but I really don't care, because it's time for me to Move On.
