This article only cites a single source and that is from 1978. It's not clear to what extent this is still an accepted concept. It appears to be more or less the same as the Iranian Plateau in terms of extent. The article needs much better sourcing, although a quick check through Google Scholar suggests that finding good sources may be tricky. Mikenorton (talk) 14:52, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
