[Bearbeiten] Biographie The surname „of Buchau “agitates from there that their father gave it the Benediktiner-Kloster Buchau on the island Buchau in the Federsee in Württemberg as Pfründe too own. There it had been educated already together with their three sisters and probably also as a nun entered. Whether it already was in Buchau Äbtissin, seems against it doubtfuly.

Before 857 it changed into the Benediktinerinnen-Kloster Frauenchiemsee (also: Frauenwörth), probably already in the function as Äbtissin. When 1922 cardinal Faulhaber introduced the blessed speaking process, the grave was opened at the same time for the third time and the Kopfreliquie from Seeon after Frauenwörth was returned. At this time however the Zusammengehörigkeit could not be proven scientifically yet.

Only to 27. April 2003 the Gebeine and the head of the blessed Irmengard in a glass shrine in the monastic church Frauenwörth could be united in a solemn ceremony. A scientific investigation went ahead by means of DNA-Analyse over the affiliation of the Gebeine into Frauenwörth to the head Reliquie in the nearby Kloster Seeon.
