This page needs rewriting in proper English. At the moment it is in German-English. Laurids2 (talk) 18:26, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article insists too much and pointlessly in distinguishing Jews "according to Halacha" from Jews by ethnicity/race or otherwise. Halacha has nothing to do with the questions discussed in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.25.62.147 (talk) 18:11, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Juedisches Nachrichtenblatt[edit]

I am a cataloger at the Leo Baeck Institute currently digitizing German-Jewish periodicals. I have been working on collections for both Israelitisches Familienblatt (Hamburg) and Juedisches Nachrichtenblatt (Berlin). I could not find any information indicating Israelitisches Familienblatt was the successor of Juedisches Nachrichtenblatt, although the article seems to indicate that the latter supercedes the former. I would like to suggest that the section on Juedisches Nachrichtenblatt be separated into its own page.
