Egerton University[edit]

This is a university in kenya located in the rift valley. It has two three branches one in Nakuru town, the others in Laikipia and Kisii towns. It was first established as an agricultural learning centre for the colonial settlers before being made a college then a university by the succeeding african goverments. Egerton University is ranked last among the Kenyan public universities. It is located in Njoro and boasts 5,000 hectares of land with a fully equiped chemistry and medicine branches. The Nakuru town campus offers degrees in media and communication, commerce and information technology.
