I'll get to this in the fullness of time.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:41, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • No DABs, external links OK.
  • US license for images is suspect, although PD-1996 will probably work.
    • Corrected the files on Commons
  • At that time, it was the Royal Italian Navy and put the Italian name for it in parens and italics.
    • Fixed
  • She was armed with a main battery of four 13.5-inch (340 mm) guns, had a top speed of 20.3 knots use an "and" instead of the comma
    • Done
  • Add a link for naval gunfire support to the mention of bombarding in the lede.
    • Done
  • Sicilia was 127.6 meters (419 ft) long overall and had a beam of 23.44 m (76.9 ft) and an average draft of 8.83 m (29.0 ft).
    • Fixed
  • triple-expansion steam engines each driving comma after engines
    • Added
  • Explain what /30 means.
    • Done
  • Watch your roundings for your conversions in the text.
    • Should be good now
  • What source are you using to verify what the ships are named after? Gardiner doesn't mention that. I usually use Silverstone if you need a ref that will work for all three ships.
    • I figured it was a WP:BLUE case for Sardegna = Sardegna ;) Though actually I did come across this book chapter while trawling for the older ironclads that discussed Italian ship naming conventions...can't remember the title at the moment.
      • For these ships in particular, that makes sense as there really aren't any alternatives, although Re Umberto could have been dicey if he hadn't the first of his name. Just keep in mind that most ship names aren't as obvious as these and will needed to be cited.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:59, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link launched, displacement, full load, sisters
    • Done
  • Enrico Dandolo what kind of ship ia this?
    • Clarified
  • Your bête-noir in the refs.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 02:32, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Fixed - these damn templates...thanks, Sturm. Parsecboy (talk) 12:34, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
