Dubious[edit]

I haven't found any evidence of Brandeis ever having a store at Westroads Mall -- Google News turns up nothing, neither do any other sources. Can someone verify? Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 21:36, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brandeis did have a store at Westroads, although it opened later than the original mall (1972). It was four stories, having one floor each above and below the malls floors. When Younkers purchased Brandeis, they kept both stores open for a while (both branded as Younkers, but eventually Younkers relinquished the old Brandeis to the mall. At one point, the top floor of the former Brandeis served as an Omaha police substation. --Swpospis 03:41, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Brandeis had locations in the 1960's and 1970's in Ames Plaza (56th and Ames) and North 30th Street. More research is needed on these locations.--Swpospis 03:50, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the Westroads lease plan, it seems that Brandeis was right next to the current Younkers store, about where TGI Friday's and Champs Sports are now (the part off to the side, labeled "mezzanine", matches up there). If you can find sources for these other locations, please feel free to add them. Ten Pound Hammer(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 16:51, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
