Self promotion[edit]

This page seems to be a self promotion effort by a non-notable local artist. His music does not appear to have been released by any professional label, small or large, and his art has recieved a minimal amount of web coverage which the creator of this page (probably Mr. Brine himself) has blow completely out of proportion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thunderbingo (talkcontribs) 02:37, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

JJ Brine has been written about in The Huffington Post[1], in addition to New York art websites ArtFCity[2] and Oracle Talk[3]. This constitutes more than "minimal" web coverage.--DependableSkeleton79 (talk) 23:51, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

JJ Brine meets the notability standards of WP:ARTIST and the references are independent, second-party sources. --DependableSkeleton79 (talk) 03:43, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Found this page in 2017 because little JJ is having an event celebrating Charles Manson to bring more publicity his way. He remains not particularly notable on the art scene in New York, and the page remains fawning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.229.218.73 (talk) 08:23, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Death[edit]

Are there any sources for his "death". I am removing until one is added. Bangabandhu (talk) 13:40, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there are MANY sources, it was posted about by many of his friends, including people I know personally, online, and I have just posted a link to his obituary in his hometown newspaper. Please stop reverting this. It is absolutely true, and you are constantly causing people who knew and loved him emotional trauma by continually erasing his very real death on Wikipedia. You are not doing a service to the community by doing this. Syntheticzero (talk) 06:47, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Who keeps deleting his date of death??[edit]

Some very insensitive person keeps deleting his date of death. This is incredibly offensive and traumatizing to those who knew and loved him. Please stop doing this 2603:8001:AF01:C6F8:0:0:0:1004 (talk) 13:11, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
