BRD[edit]

I am about to remove the paragraph in this article starting "Together with Sydney Brenner..." for the following reasons: Its content cannot be categorized as information about research, because looking at somebody else's work without making a significant contribution is never research, its at most to be classified under "trivia". Being a newcomer to Wikipedia as editor, I contacted a WikiJanitor beforehand who encouraged me to use this BRD approach.

This information deleted here is fitting nicely into the very extensive history in the DNA structure article (where it really belongs), but in the relatively short biographies of Dunitz (where it has 88 words, compared to 173 words about research in the established sense), Brenner, and Orgel, it gives this event far too much weight. Therefore, eliminating this should be also considered in the other two biographies mentioned here.
