Questionable usage of "reprisal"[edit]

In this sentence under == Books ==: ''John Fury (Harper and Brothers, 1946), is the story of an Irish working-class man who moves from a happy marriage to an unpleasant one in a life of poverty, hard work, and frustration, where his only reprisal [sic] is anger." I think you meant "reaction" or "emotion". Reprisal means an act of retaliation; who is he retaliating against? Autodidact1 (talk) 21:33, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
