Untitled[edit]

This is actually a interesting article with connection of historical people.

Relevant?[edit]

Contrary to the user above, I'm not sure what the point of this article is. Yes, this man had an interesting life, but that doesn't make him notable enough to have a wikipedia article on him. At the very least, this article requires a major rewrite- it is far too chatty, informal and it attempts more at entertainment than information. There needs to be a real review of this article's status. Bosola 12:32, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and Content Issues[edit]

This article has major issues. Sounds like it was written by someone who knew Speiden personally. Also, the writing style is also incorrect. They use "Jack" over "Speiden" in some sentences.

Needs more citations, otherwise, I would recommend it for deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexf505 (talkcontribs) 05:33, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The "Jack" issues have been addressed. This individual has a featured obit in the NYT, ties to the Kennedy family and Barry Goldwater, and was a congressional candidate. He owned of a ranch that Arizona DOT considers significant enough to note with an I-10 exit sign. So Notability is not an issue here. That tag has been removed.
