JSO hasn't provided security for JAXPORT since 2010. I recommend changing: The authority coordinates interaction between the port security department guards and the Seaport Security Unit, made up of 11 officers and 2 sergeants on contract from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. to: The JAXPORT Department of Public Safety’s security program is designed to meet mandates of the Federal Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) of 2002, enforced by the United States Coast Guard.
