(Where, in Battery F? Suggest: was born in Hawaii on...) "Devers was promoted to captain on May 15, and major on August 5, did not see action." (Choppy sentence: but did not see action.) "...which was under orders to move to the France" (Remove the.) Between the wars "He reverted from colonel to his substantive rank on taking up the appointment on 20 August 1919." (Suggest: rank of captain.)
	1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
	2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
