In English?[edit]

There are English translations done of several of Tardi's albums. Rhinoracer 13:34, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly thought so. Have you searched thoroughly and not found anything? MURGH disc. 22:09, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Steampunk contention[edit]

In the article, User:205.205.253.95 added the following:

The Adèle Blanc-Sec could be considered to be steampunk.

I personally don't agree too much (sure in a way, but nah..) and in any case it needs a secondary source to stay in. Any takers? MURGH disc. 22:09, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Tardi-Casterman-pressphoto.jpg[edit]

Image:Tardi-Casterman-pressphoto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ligne claire[edit]

It seems strange to talk about ligne claire as Herge's style since he didn't coin the term and didn't use it to refer to his own work (which really wasn't pure ligne claire anyway). I'm not sure Tardi's style technically is ligne claire either. That reference should be removed or modified. 69.158.138.243 (talk) 14:56, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The later Hergé is usually considered the founder and benchmark of Ligne claire, although the term was coined later by Joost Swarte. How is it not pure Ligne claire? 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 15:02, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
