Untitled[edit]

Hi,

the acronym used currently on thre Wiki page for the Java EE Connector Architecture is 'JCA'.

This is certainly not the case as on sun.com the acronym is explicitely used for the Java ™ Cryptography Architecture - for example, see http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/security/crypto/CryptoSpec.html .

I understand there is confusion on terminology, but Java EE Connector Architecture should have an acronym along the lines of: J2C or J2CA or J2EE CA.

This should be cleared up.

JDBC isn't JEE specific![edit]

"While JDBC is specifically used to connect Java EE applications to databases (...)" isn't correct as JDBC can connect JSE applications too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.254.153.10 (talk) 21:13, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What about RAR?[edit]

When I go to RAR (disambiguation) in wikipedia, it sends me to this JCA page. I see nothing on this page about RAR, and so my goal of using wikipedia to find out a bit about RAR ("Resource Adatper aRchive) is thwarted. Can someone explain why there isn't a wikipedia page about RAR, or why the JCA page doesn't include an explanation about RAR when the link for RAR sends you there? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.127.124.151 (talk) 16:53, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
