I've also found his name associated with A North Country Garland from 1824. I am unsure of the exact nature of the publication but it may be a collection of ballads. Shinobu (talk) 06:53, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was right! I was on the verge of giving up looking for it and then I suddenly found the full text online: [1] I was quite surprised. Notice how it contains songs that are still sung, but with slightly different wordings and couplets missing. They must have been inserted later, I guess.
