African-American[edit]

According to the full-age laudatio/obit in the Chicago Tribune, Oct. 31, 2015, "Jim was a Chcagoan of African American descent."Kdammers (talk) 14:11, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is he really African-American? By all the photos he appears to be white. --Stuvacowiki (talk) 18:30, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Discuss advert claim here. Biggest offender I can find in the content is the wording around Liautaud Institute, could be a little more removed. Colinrgodsey (talk) 13:20, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have re-written the article to sound much more encyclopedic. I believe it is clear from the attention his death garnered that he is certainly notable. When I am done with my edits I will take down both tags.185.54.161.64 (talk) 06:48, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notability claim[edit]

Think this is a non-issue, he seems to be involved in many corners of academia, plus being a notable minority exec in the 60s. Colinrgodsey (talk) 13:20, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
