Slovaks presence questioned[edit]

I have found this article by Mr. Miloslav Rechcígl, Jr. (http://www.svu2000.org/cs-america/1st-slovak-settler/), the president of the Czechoslovak Society for Sciences and Art, who disputes presence of Slovaks in Jamestown and claims the records to be hoax. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ceplm (talk • contribs) 22:42, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Much of what is alleged in this article is based on unreliable, even spurious publications, cf. reference 10.: Pula (2008) who distinguishes clearly between fact and fiction. Th. Schmid (talk) 13:50, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
