Main topic: ancient city[edit]

According to Oxford Reference (see here), Enc. Britannica (see here and here), Google Search and whatever you wish, the Jewish city is easily the main topic here. I'll place it as such on the DAB page. Arminden (talk) 09:56, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@NmWTfs85lXusaybq: hi. I never know, do YOU make the changes, or a bot run by you?
I have now fixed what your bot might have disliked, wikilinking the "main topic" right from the first word in the lead. I hope the bot will be satisfied :) Maybe I'll also create a redirect, making the Wikilink more straightforward. Cheers, Arminden (talk) 12:42, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@NmWTfs85lXusaybq: I see RussBot (R'n'B, hi) has created Jamnia (disambiguation) 14 yrs ago, but just as a redirect, so practically useless, because nobody will bother typing in all that rather than just "Jamnia". I'm no good with technical stuff, but I know it's complicated (takes time, commissions...) to switch contents. Can that redirect please be swiftly deleted? Then I would move this page to "Jamnia (disambiguation)", and create a redirect for the main topic, so Jamnia -> Yavne#History, with headtags where needed to plug any possible hole and keep the user on track. Thanks! Arminden (talk) 12:53, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have no prejudice on the primary topic and wouldn't bear any burden for that. You have to move it yourself before any further change to the dab. NmWTfs85lXusaybq (talk) 14:01, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
