I've removed that section again. The source given at www.seiska.fi seems to be a sensationalist rag that does not qualify as a reliable source. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 02:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is correct that Seiska is a sensationalist tabloid magazine. In this case, however, Sillanpää himself declared his homosexuality in a television show (which is on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLUeVR7t9Zw) and Seiska merely reported the fact. In Finland, tabloids also rarely publish completely false stories as it is easy to sue them for slander in here. Journalists have been convicted for far lesser things. Helsingin Sanomat, biggest newspaper in Finland, also reported in 2009 on the acceptance he has received after "coming out" (see: http://www.hs.fi/viihde/artikkeli/1135248993231). Legal troubles[edit]

I think this article should be updated. I mean, the article fails to mention him being busted for methamphetamine use in two separate occasions and his ongoing trial due to accusations of some pretty serious stuff.--Iikka Backman (talk) 11:08, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
