Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Jasig is a legitimate non-profit organization. I understand that the article was deleted before due to being written as an advertisement. I am a Free Software advocate not affiliated with Jasig, so I will write an impartial version of this article. Apereo[edit]

I think this article should be transformed into an article about Apereo, since such doesn't exist, and detail the history of both Jasig, Sakai Foundation and Apereo (the merge itself and events occurred later). The history of Sakai Foundation is detailed in the article "Sakai (software)", so it can be moved here. Some information about the history of Apereo is available on their website.
