Zarāns translates Jaunmoku muižas pils as Jaunmokas Castle. The Latvian Castle and Manor Association translates Jaunmoku pils as Jaunmokas Manor. The invented word jaunmoku can be the possessive form of either jaunmoka (jauna moka, new tribulation) or jaunmokas (jaunas mokas, new suffering). Both can be derived from the original German name Neu-Mocken. Jauns is a literal translation of neu, while mokas is a phonetic, not literal, translation of Mocken, although both are plural nouns. – Maliepa (talk) 13:09, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The definition between Palace and Castle is very distinctive. The former is a royal residence or home of a head of state or some other dignitary, while Castle is a fortified residence. I think the title should be moved once the entry Jaunmoku Manor is easily found everywhere. Either one or the other, there should be concordance between the title and the text of the article, which now creates confusion between the two terms.
