Contradiction tag removed.[edit]

A contradiction tag was added 01:07, 18 January 2008 137.22.13.130 (talk) (1,908 bytes) (3 names or 1 name?). This is not a contradiction. In the United States, some people have two names, some have 3, and yet others have 4, and we also have Cher who only has the one name. In Mexico and other Latin countries, people can have as many as 10 names. It is not uncommon for different cultures to have different naming conventions even within their own culture. Thanks. About name Slamet[edit]

I know this may be minor but I think Slamet is not an arabic style Javanese name. It's taken from javanese language 'slamet' (Indonesian language 'selamat') which means 'survived, made it, congrats' and is very common in Javanese.

I am Javanese myself and my uncle's name is Slamet. 118.97.15.20 (talk) 23:48, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
