Please expand this article to include the following information:

His formative years and education
His acquisition of the Iroquoian and Angonquian languages
Reason on his prolific output on Iroquoian and Algonquian language materials, specifically on Mohawk and Algonquin, and the logic on how, when and why those works were published.
His impacts on community of Oka itself.
His impacts on First Nations who are descendents of the Seven Nations, particularly those whose ancestors were associated with Oka (i.e. his legacy).
Links to his works (many are available through Canadiana.org)
