Correct spelling of composer's city: Ghent' Correct spelling of composer's city: In English we spell his city: "Ghent". This page incorrectly uses "Gant". There is no city in Belgium called Gant. Authoritative references in Internet include: www.allmusic.com Amazon searches produce results in Loeillet de (or of) Ghent. Dogru144 04:02 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Londoner not the same person[edit]

These persons had the place names at the end of their names to distinguish each other. They are related but they are not the same persons. Please heed the work that has gone into the two respective articles. These are different persons. Death date problem[edit]

The article and categories don't really match; one says 1720; the other says 1750; the LC authority file has citations for both dates. I will look at New Grove Online next week to see if there is a definite date--FeanorStar7 (talk) 02:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
