In a game?[edit]

I think this car is being promoted in the "Lost Experience" online game, but I'm not sure enough to mention it in the entry. --- Mike 13:44, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Compact crossover[edit]

I don't really think that the Compass is a crossover. I think that it's more of a subcompact SUV concept, much like the Honda Element, Nissan Cube, Kia Soul etc. etc. I don't see what exactly makes it a crossover, especially in the Jeep series, that are SUV-oriented. Chrysler already has the Caliber, which fits pretty well in the whole crossover line and competes with both Nissan Rogue and Toyota Venza. Why have another compact crossover? 74.15.224.63 (talk) 05:34, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Caliber is sold under Dodge, the Compass (along with the Patriot) under Jeep.. in North America, at least. Both share the same platform, and the Caliber is usually called a hatchback (not even a "crossover") while the Compass is also more car-like than standard truck-based SUVs. --Vossanova o< 15:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

it's actually a CUV (compact utility vehicle) caliber as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.251.186.35 (talk) 23:28, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's an low-slung SUV shape with a car chassis and independant front and rear suspension. Pretty much typical crossover charateristics.--Evilbred (talk) 21:48, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Car photo[edit]

Can someone please update the photo to 2011 / 2012 model? The current photo is outdated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.192.232.90 (talk) 05:05, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
