Page title[edit]

I know it's tough to translate purely Gujarati title into English, but IMDb lists the title of the page as "Jeevno Jugari", which seems more appropriate to me, compared to the current title, but I am open to other thoughts. Soundtrack listing on amazon lists it as "Jiv No Jugari".@Snehrashmi:, @Nizil Shah:, @Gazal world:. Coderzombie (talk) 06:03, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I initially created it with title Jeevno Jugari but before publishing changed it as per the listed title in the list of Gujarati Films. The name of the film is based on a person Jeevan (જીવણ) so 'Jiv no Jugari' (Gambler of soul/life) is not an appropriate. Gujarati Vishwakosh entry is also wrongly titled it in Gujarati. That's why I referenced Gujarati name in article from the book I used. Jeevno Jugari is grammatically correct title.Snehrashmi (talk) 08:00, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Snehrashmi: it is in fact, Gambler of soul, in terms of title. here is the poster of the movie. Coderzombie (talk) 12:05, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Coderzombie Thank you so much for pointing it. Actually, I should have not relied on single reference. I checked Vishwakosh entry and reference book I owned; and trusted the printed version. I should have check it on internet before publishing the final article. I admire your efforts to review this article and raise your concerns regarding the title. I promise it will not be repeated. Keep eyes on my editing. Thank you once again. Snehrashmi (talk) 16:32, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Gujarati transliteration is difficult and confusing. I would prefer to go with Jeevno Jugari. Jivano Jugari is not right in my opinion as Gujaratis do not commonly transliterate with full 'a' sound. Nizil (talk) 18:58, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
