ELO -> Elo[edit]
I have altered "ELO" to "Elo", which is appropriate. It is not an acronym, it is a person's name. "Elo rating" is appropriate. "ELO rating" is not.
Just wanted to note that his USA pages don't include Elo Chess ratings anymore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.113.62 (talk) 03:12, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Changes in NCAA records book[edit]
While looking over the NCAA Records Books, I notice Sagarin selections that change:
- 1956 Tennessee (1995), Oklahoma (1996)
- 1957 Oklahoma (1995), Michigan State (1996), Auburn (2022)
- 1962 Alabama (1995), USC (2000), Ole Miss (2004)
There may be other changes as well. We should identify any changes in formula by Sagarin and different sets of champions, as was recently done at Billingsley Report.
Changes:
- 1995 book: Sagarin's first appearance. "1956–present"
- 1996 book: "1978–present" and "Predated national champions from 1938 and 1956–1977"
- 2004 book: "New in this book: Sagarin Ratings for 1919-present with ELO"
