Interview shelved?[edit]

His website says CBS shelved his interview. What does that mean? --Gbleem 17:25, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CBS faced a potential law suit from B & W due to Jeffrey Wigand's violation of his non-disclosure agreement so they initially decided not to air the interview. According to http://www.jeffreywigand.com/60minutes.php"It was originally scheduled months earlier, but was delayed and almost buried completely. It wasn't until the Wall Street Journal published Dr. Wigand's Mississippi testimony that CBS reconsidered, and allowed the show to run." --Pete Gas (talk) 16:05, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship?[edit]

For a subject as corporate-sensitive as nicotine manipulation, this article is surprisingly scarce. Can somebody see if there's maybe some malicious editing going on here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.234.34.25 (talk) 14:39, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personal life[edit]

There should be some information about his family. According to the The Insider (film), his wife filed for a divorce. What happened to his daughters? etc. 61.8.149.69 (talk) 13:30, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"intentionally manipulated"[edit]

a [specify] tag was added to this phrase with the edit comment "no source reference is given for 'intentionally manipulated' effects of nicotine, so is there for just hearsay, or opinion; lacks neutrality". I read this sentence in the article as a statement of what Wigand actually said; the lack of neutrality is expected, as it is his opinion, so I am removing the tag.
