Comments/requests for this page. First, would it be possible for an editor to add a Czech 'hacek' and an acute diacritical, respectively, over the first and second "c" in her last name, per "Jelena Kovačević"? Also, in the infobox: since she starts as Dean of NYU Tandon on August 15, can "Dean-designate of NYU's Tandon School of Engineering" be above "Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University"? She no longer holds a position at CMU. And, consequently, can the latter title begin with "Former Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University"? Thanks to anyone who can do this for me, as I work for NYU. Kgberg (talk) 15:05, 17 July 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kgberg (talkcontribs) 15:00, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{{request edit}} {{paid}} In the Infobox can "Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University" be placed below "Dean-designate of NYU's Tandon School of Engineering" instead of its current position on top, suggesting she is still there, since, as noted above, she is no longer at Carnegie Mellon? see links in July 17 comment above, also her LinkedIn page. Thank you Kgberg (talk) 11:11, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{{request edit}} Jelena is no longer at Carnegie Mellon University. She would like that reference removed from the Infobox. She begins as Dean of NYU Tandon on August 15. Would someone remove "head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon" next to "Occupation" in infobox? Kgberg (talk) 15:11, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Task complete.

2023-06-22: Changes to address recent inaccurate and dubious updates[edit]

{{Connected contributor|User1=Facereiusrei |U1-declared=yes| Employee of subject's current organization

I made fairly significant edits to subject's page to correct inaccurate information that was added in May 2023 about subject institution's U.S. News & World Report rankings and to correct inferred reason for subject's decision to step down, which was speculative and inaccurate. The recent edits implied the subject had stepped down as a direct result of a change in rank, which was incorrect given that the institution was aware of the subject's decision to step down prior to any change in ranking, and given that the drop in rank was due to U.S. News & World Report changing the underlying rankings methodology and not a negative change in institutional metrics, which improved during her tenure – I added references verifying those those improvements and the methodology change. I also removed inaccurate information about subject's parents' careers and cause of death, and dubious speculation about potential mental state that did not appear to be good-faith edits. I also updated or added references for books, awards, academic conferences, and other biographical information that was either missing or out-of-date.
