School[edit]

The link to the Startup School homepage was removed. Having the link is surely deserved. Is there a specific rule its inclusion violates? (As an aside, Startup School is free, so usual commercial concerns probably don't apply). --75.154.188.205 (talk) 20:38, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Agreed that the notability is particularly weak. She wrote one book and works on a project to help start-ups. She might grow into a notable career, but at this point, it lacks the concent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.188.144.12 (talk) 15:55, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Um, YC is huge in the startup world and she's a cofounder. She's definitely very notable. 67.164.86.72 (talk) 23:38, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed.
YC has:
- invested in some of the most notable companies in the world (https://www.ycdb.co/top-companies/funding) such as Airbnb
- has been one of the leading innovator in the accelerator investment model, which has spread all over the world and become one of the key forms of early stage invectment (https://d3.harvard.edu/platform-rctom/submission/y-combinator-accelerating-innovation/)
YC is considered to be the top accelerator in the world (https://startupsavant.com/best-startup-accelerators)
being the co-founder of YC means having played one of the largest historical roles in the field of Startup, and having contributed to the creation of some of the largest companies in the world. 93.35.170.60 (talk) 17:43, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

Can we at least get a better picture of her? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.0.172.19 (talk) 20:18, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
