Edit introduction[edit]

Wikipedia introductory biography states that the lead that Justice Prosser had over Koppenburg was a "commanding lead". I suggest that the term commanding be removed, as it is politically charged speech that is unfit for a biography page, and the lead was not commanding lead, but a very narrow one (less than half of one percent is an incredibly small margin). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnbolger76543 (talkcontribs) 19:04, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I do not frequently comment on pages such as this, but I have to second Johnbolger above. "Commanding" is inappropriate in tone and also simply inaccurate according to the other facts presented in the article. 140.182.224.244 (talk) 18:20, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Public Service and Career," it's Barbara Crabb, not "Barbara Cobb." Thanks much for expeditiously fixing this. 74.127.175.164 (talk) 22:34, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2011 election[edit]

I'm rather concerned by the coverage of the 2011 Wisconsin Supreme Court election in the lead. The lead is supposed to summarize the rest of the article. Mentioning that Kloppenburg ran for Wisconsin Supreme Court and lost certainly is appropriate for the lead. Having an entire paragraph on the recount, including the cost to taxpayers, gives that episode undue weight and might even be taken to imply that Kloppenburg wasted taxpayer money on a frivolous recount, which as far as I can see is neither supported by the sources nor, even if it were, significant enough an aspect of her career to make up almost half the lead. I'll prune the lead and move the content down to the 2011 election section where it belongs. Huon (talk) 07:58, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
