Was he Austrian? Is this the way we want to describe him?[edit]

Aldringen seems to have lived in various places within the Holy Roman Empire. He worked for the Hubsburgs, but I am not sure "Austrian" makes sense. He does not seem to have been connected with any of the areas called Austria at the time. This seems like an anachronistic description of him.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:14, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
