Danish[edit]

What is the basis for describing him as Danish-German? This is unsourced and seems a bit dubious.--Batmacumba (talk) 07:54, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you raise a valid point; I don't know who or when that was added and have removed same; it is uncited and not discussed in the body of the article. Kierzek (talk) 15:06, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It was added on 18 August 2010 by anonymous user 24.17.97.70, who was active for a little over a year back in 2010-11 and exclusively wrote about Scandinavian genealogy. He/she also added that Johannes Hentschel was "born to Danish parents". He may well have been (as plenty of Danes have German surnames), but that needs a source.--Batmacumba (talk) 15:35, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Kierzek (talk) 17:01, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
