John Bean (cricketer)John Bean (British Army officer) – His cricket career lasted just one season, while his military career lasted a couple decades. His highest rank was lieutenant colonel. Alternatively, how about John Bean (lieutenant colonel)? George Ho (talk) 01:14, 29 December 2020 (UTC) Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck 17:03, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. I think the question is not what he did longer, but for what is he notable. Does he have an article on WP due to being a cricketer, an officer, both or neither? Why would most readers be interested in learning about him, and how are they more likely searching for him? Station1 (talk) 08:11, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The article was created one year ago, so why does being known for matter? And readers? This article have very few readers this year, compared to other articles. And this person won't likely be in huge number of searches in Google, especially while using either "cricket" or "british army". George Ho (talk) 10:06, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose he is notable (barely) for being a cricketer, not as an Army officer. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 11:30, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
