      • Short paragraphs and single sentences generally do not warrant their own subheading. Paragraphs should be short enough to be readable, but long enough to develop an idea. (WP:BETTER)
      • Remove the Publications section. The list is too short. I’d recommend you to convert this list into prose and adjust in any other section.
      • Similarly remove the Other affiliations subsection. The paragraph is too short. In fact I’d request you to convert the list in the Personal life section into prose. I feel it’s a recurring issue in your articles that are biographies (not BLPs, of course ). Also the Personal life section is a bit, I believe, off topic.
      • Fix Covell is interred with his wife Annie at Indian Mound Cemetery in Romney.. The paragraph is too short.

I'm glad to see your work here. The prose quality in particular is meticulous and engrossing. As per the above checklist, I do have some insights that I think will be useful in improving the article:

  • I think the lead can be improved in order to provide an accessible overview and to give relative emphasis for the Early life and education.
  • I think the layout needs to be fixed.
  • I feel the table in the Personal life section is off-topic.

Besides that, I think the article looks excellent. Caponer, please feel free to strike out any recommendation you think will not help in improving the article. All the best, --Seabuckthorn  20:37, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Seabuckthorn, as always, thank you for taking the time from your schedule to conduct this good article review! I appreciate your input and guidance. I've addressed the issues you've listed above, so please re-review and let me know if you identify any outstanding issues. As for the table under the personal life section, I feel it is the best way to illustrate the biographical information of his children, in which it also shows Covell's connection to Isaac Parsons (American military officer) and Wappocomo (Romney, West Virginia). I tried to consolidate this information into prose, but it just didn't seem to work well. Please let me know if this is will be an issue. Thanks again for your diligence, patience, and extraordinary attention to detail--I really appreciate your phenomenal efforts! -- Caponer (talk) 02:05, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The issues have been addressed, and I see no further concerns, so I'll pass this. Wizardman 03:16, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
