COI tag (April 2024)[edit]

article creator User:TAPPANHEHER has the same surname and has bypassed WP:AFC to move directly to mainspace, against advice. Theroadislong (talk) 14:09, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry what do you mean? I added references as requested and moved a page to be considered for publication p. How is this "against advice"? I request a full explanation from you for this action. TAPPANHEHER (talk) 14:21, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Further this is User name is NOT my surname. Which can prove. Why would you assume this? That is very unprofessional, and again I request an explanation. TAPPANHEHER (talk) 14:23, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, but it's bound to arouse suspicion if your user name parrots the articles you are working on. Theroadislong (talk) 14:32, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am a former employee of the company he founded and have great admiration for him hence the article, your assumption is misguided and as I said, unprofessional. I plan to take this issue up with higher authority at Wikipedia.

Your user name contains the name of the subject Tappan and the author of the main source used, Carol Heher, so it is entirely correct to question if there is a connection per WP:COI. I welcome you taking this up with a "higher authority at Wikipedia". Please also note that being a former employee of the company he founded is a clear conflict of interest which you need to disclose on your user page.
