Untitled[edit]

The Oxford National Dictionary of Biography entry on John Gerard (written by a famous Jesuit historian) says that this man lived till 1637. The web-site you point to also has the wrong date of death. Gerard left England in 1606, which is perhaps where the mistake arose.
