Model landlord?[edit]

Where does the source say he was a "model landlord". In fact the Scotsman source (now properly formatted) says precisely the opposite. Harry Let us have speaks 12:08, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Try page 462 of the Slade article; I note you have changed the article again to remove the attribution of the statement which is not acceptable so I have reverted. SagaciousPhil - Chat 12:25, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Reference 2 makes no mention, ref 4 is a broken link. Which Slade article do you mean? In any event, there is certainly dispute that he was a "model landlord" and that should be made clear for NPOV. Harry Let us have speaks 12:35, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
By the Slade article, obviously I mean currently ref #4. The previous text specifically alluded to his being a model landlord to his Aberdeenshire tenants. It will only take a moment to update what is after all a courtesy link. Please do not continue to accuse me of adding unsupported text. Thanks. I was referring to ref 2 which makes not mention of him being a model landlord, and yet is the ref used to support that text. I am happy that ref 4 now does support the statement. Perhaps it should be move to that bit of the article? Harry Let us have speaks 13:08, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As ref #2 was placed immediately beside the part of the sentence which read: "Described by architectural historian H. Gordon Slade" it was therefore blatantly obvious it referenced that H. Gordon Slade is an architectural historian but whatever ... SagaciousPhil - Chat 13:13, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
