Unsure but[edit]

John Hartigan is also the name of the CEO of News Limited and appears to be a notable representative of this organisation in Australia. I'm not sure if this is the right place to raise this, but the News Limited article did point to this page ... instead of a disambiguous page.--Senor Freebie (talk) 03:54, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 August 2022[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: Moved to John Hartigan (Sin City) (non-admin closure). This is both simpler than the original proposal and more specific, and is generally the way fictional characters are handled. John HartiganJohn Hartigan (fictional character) – There are now 4 John Hartigans, the other 3 being real people, and the Australian one quite prominent (although only just had article created). I suspect that many of the incoming links to this article would be from the template that features it. It is true that this one has the most page views at the moment, so will for the moment be the primary topic on the DAB page I am about to create, but I think it's worth discussing whether it should remain that way.
