Untitled[edit]

Just made this page. A lotta people like and read John, so we owe it to him to give him a page. --Daveroo69 03:57, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John McIntyre of the Baltimore Sun is not the same as the John McIntyre of the blog Real Clear Politics. Maybe someone wants to create a different page and add the two to the disambiguation page for John McIntyre. I do not have the energy after trying to correct the page numerous times and having it reverted as vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.192.21.43 (talk) 03:23, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I created a page John McIntyre (copyeditor) and split it off from the John McIntyre (blogger) page. Fixed the redirect to the wrong talk page as well. Jupiter9 (talk) 05:51, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This entry is incorrect. The John E. McIntyre who is the assistant managing editor of the copy desk at the Baltimore Sun and writes the blog You Don't Say is not the John McIntyre who writes the blog RealClearPolitics. As a reference, please see [1].

Change title of article?[edit]

Calling him a blogger in the title of the article no longer seems appropriate. RCP isn't best described as a blog. I think he would best be described in the disambiguating article title as a journalism executive, a publisher, or even very narrowly as (co-founder, RealClearPolitics).
