William Morris claim[edit]

The William Morris referenced as the architect of Villa Maund was not a practicing architect and this building is not attested to in any records of his work. Either the architect was a different William Morris, or someone else entirely.

Murder victim?[edit]

According to the German Wikipedia article on Villa Maund, John Oakley Maund was murdered in an alley with a sandbag in 1902 (in Pisa, presumably). Bizarrely, this claim appears in the Villa Maund article but not in the John Oakley Maund article. I have been unable to find a source confirming this explosive statement, and therefore have not incorporated it into this article. Gildir (talk) 15:47, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
