Let's be truthful[edit]

It is clear that John Salazar's Congressional staff or campaign staff are working hard to delete documented facts. This page is supposed to represent information surrounding Rep. John Salazar, not help him in his next reelection effort.

Please sign your comments with four tildes. I rewote the article to be more encyclopedic, and I don't see anything that currently merits the POV tag, so I removed it. If you place a tag on an article, you have to give specific reasons on the talk page for it.--Gloriamarie 09:53, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There has been an unfortunate rash of unsourced or poorly sourced material on this page. Please be careful, when editing the page, to make sure that everything is sourced to a reliable source. Blogs, generally speaking, will not cut it. Phil Sandifer 18:51, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some glaring errors[edit]

Hey, folks, there are a couple of just obvious glaring errors here. First, why in the world is this a "project Mexico" page? John Salazar was born in the US, as was Ken; in fact (see Ken Salazar's page) they're 5th generation Coloradans. He's no more associated with Mexico than anyone.

Second, the article says he attended West Point, but lists his alma mater as Adams State College. it's hard to see how both could be true; I may see John this week and will attempt to clarify this from the horses mouth, but it ought to be easily checked. --- Charlie (Colorado) (talk) 04:46, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I find it suspiciously difficult to nail-down info on his military record. "Member, United States Army Criminal Investigations Division, 1973-1976" -http://www.votesmart.org/bio.php?can_id=29778 His official website says NOTHING about his military service! 63.145.34.130 (talk) 01:46, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
