  • Corley was assigned to the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division during WWII. The 26th Infantry served in 8 ETO campaigns; Algeria-French Morocco (with arrowhead); Tunisia; Sicily (with arrowhead); Normandy (with arrowhead); Northern France; Rhineland; Ardennes-Alsace; Central Europe (See 26th Infantry Regiment (United States). So, Corley could only have 8 stars on his ETO ribbon; not 11.Meyerj (talk) 14:03, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
