Differences in sources?[edit]

@EchetusXe: According the the Tottenham texts I have he was born in Middlesbrough and not Surrey, I moved the article over because you have the E missing from the end of his name. Do you actually have that Sunderland book cited? I was wondering if there are mistakes in it. What's actually written for him. etc. Regards. Govvy (talk) 10:07, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I don't have that book anymore. He only played three games for Sunderland and wasn't there long so there will be minimal data for him. It seems that I got the wrong Farnham though. Farnham, North Yorkshire is the one they meant. Saying he is from Middlesbrough because he began his career at South Bank seems a lazy assumption from the Spurs researcher. Perhaps I missed the e of his name when transcribing. EchetusXe 14:10, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@EchetusXe: Thanks for the reply, I used that source in the article, but I haven't changed his birth place back. Farnham Yorkshire is not that far from Middlesbrough, so it can make sense for it to be his birth-place, I wouldn't mind better confirmation for that know. As for the thestatcat it says it says 1st Class Comps, league for the three caps. I am assuming that's suppose to be the main Football League? Govvy (talk) 09:56, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
